The circuits
Every circuit on the directory
Three have their own pages. The rest are quoted from the same walk-through.
Circuit 1: Fuse boxes
Swap plug fuses for a breaker panel, sized after a load check, with every circuit labeled.
Fuse boxesCircuit 2: Aluminum wiring
Fix the connections with parts made for aluminum, or replace the run with copper.
Aluminum wiringCircuit 3: Two-prong outlets
Run a ground where we can. Protect the rest with GFCI devices, labeled.
Two-prong outletsCircuit 4: GFCI protection
Kitchen, bath, garage, basement and outdoor outlets, one device at a time.
Circuit 5: Service size
A load check for a 60- or 100-amp service, and a new service when the numbers say so.
Circuit 6: Overfused and overloaded lines
Match each fuse or breaker to its wire, and split a line that carries too much.
One walk-through covers all six
You do not pick a circuit before we visit. We open the panel, test the outlets and look at the cable, then list what is there as numbered circuits. You choose which to do now and which to leave.
Each circuit is priced on its own lines in the written scope. See how pricing works for what moves the number.
